"It is suggested that the 1 pm Friday game include as many as possible qualifying players; as there is no novice pool game this day. It should be apparent that the 1 P.M. game on Saturday and Sunday includes both pools and two groups of competing players. On open play games—if there are sufficient players to have tournaments in both pools, then the group will be split.  In this event if there is only one set of drink chips, they will be awarded to the novice pool."*
