Water Volleyball Proposal

Paradise Lakes Resort (PLR) has agreed to build another heated water volleyball pool, provided the players can demonstrate that they will support PLR's food and beverage establishments.

Why YOUR Support is Requested:

PLR is looking for the volleyball players to show their support for the amenities at Paradise, namely the restaurant, club and bar.

How Can YOU Show Support:

PLR is asking for a commitment from the volleyball players, as a whole, to spend at least $35,000.00 over the period of one year in Key West, PL Hemingway's & L'Attitudes, combined. This amount is less than half the cost of the new pool.

Here's How YOU Can Do It:

1. All committed players must have a House Account (H/A)
2. Full Couple members will be asked for a $1000 minimum pledge
3. Single members will be asked for a $600 minimum pledge
4. Seasonal members will be asked for a $500 minimum pledge
5. When the pledge goal of $35,000 is reached , these pledges will be charged to the credit card attached to your H/A and this charge will appear as a credit (+) on your Paradise H/A
6. Credits must be spent over the period of one year in any PLR restaurant or bar
7. After one year, any unused credits will revert to PLR
8. You can pay the pledge in one of two methods:

a. If you pay the full amount in one payment, you will receive an additional 5% credit. Example-your $1000 charge will result in your H/A being credited $1050.

b. PLR has also agreed to allow members to make three equal consecutive monthly installment payments to their H/A. Due to additional bookkeeping expenses you will not receive the extra 5% credit if you choose this option. The one year "use by" date begins on the date of the first installment.

What If The Pool Doesn't Get Built?

If the pool construction does not begin within 60 days, except for any reason outside of PLR's control (i.e. the permitting process takes an unusually long time), the members can get their money refunded

What Do YOU Have To Lose:

Nothing! The money you are putting on your H/A is for your personal use. You have up to a year to use it, you will get an additional 5% credit just for showing your support. By showing your support to Paradise, you and everyone else will enjoy the luxury of an additional water volleyball pool

Paradise Lakes Resort is willing to build this pool for you! All that is asked in return is for you to show your commitment to help keep Paradise a profitable entity. This Is A Win-Win Situation For All Water Volleyball Players!

PLR is looking for you to prove that you support the resort. If you can accomplish that goal you :

1. Get a NEW heated volleyball pool
2. Have a credit balance of your own money to spend at Paradise over one year
3. Receive a 5% bonus (provided you choose option "a")
4. Can receive a refund or continue to use the money if the pool does not happen for some reason
