 Paradise Lakes Resort is a clothing optional community resort which was opened in August, 1981 by developer Fred Bischoff. Paradise is the largest clothing optional / nudist resort in North America

Paradise Lakes Resort with over 6,000 members and more than 80,000 visitors a year is a member of the American Association For Nude Recreation (AANR) "the credible voice of reason for nude recreation". The members and visitors are a mix of singles, couples and families. Paradise Lakes is located on over 72.5 acres  that house over 500 permanent residents in over 510 single dwelling homes, mobile homes, town houses and condominiums. Paradise has two Recreational Vehicle (RV) Parks with full service hookups. There are showers throughout the park, a full service restaurant, nightclub, two bars, a spring fed lake with a white sandy beach, numerous pools and hot tubs, a 70 foot Jacuzzi conversation pool, five tennis courts, three sand volley ball courts, two water volleyball pools, an exercise health club, day spa, fashion boutique, a salon for hair and beauty treatments and  Real Estate Office.

 Paradise offers dancing in a variety of settings, games, movie night, karaoke, ping-pong, horseshoes, Texas Hold'um, darts, billiards, shuffle board, water  and sand volleyball, bubble parties, tennis and theme parties plus live entertainment.

Paradise Lakes Resort is located 17 miles north of Tampa International Airport at the intersection of US Highway 41 and Dale Mabry Highway in the Lutz, Land O’ Lakes area Pasco County Florida
