Season's Greetings! Sunny days, moonlit nights and fear of shopping(!) brought out so many of our guests and members this extended weekend! The Thanksgiving dinner buffet in PL Hemingway's was a delicious start of the four day holiday. For those members not brave enough to face the "Black Friday" crowds that lasted all weekend, poolside at Paradise was the place to be! With a tree decorating party and Christmas caroling in Key West to the Volleyball Scramble to the dancing in L' Attitudes, it was a very special (and busy!) weekend and as you you walk through the lobby, you'll notice the "elves" have been busy getting up all the Holiday decorations! Paradise was proud to host 24 competitive players in The Volleyball Scramble held on Saturday.  Rex received the $100 first prize, Andy won the $60 second place and Jim was awarded $40 for third place. We would like to thank Gary for refereeing all the games and to Fireman Ray and the Water Volleyball Committee for organizing and producing the event. That was our weekend…how was Yours?

'Tis the season for charitable acts, no matter what your faith! Our charity this year is Christian Social Services and all the fruits of our seasonal activities will be donated to this local organization. The Angel Tree, (read more>>), the Bike Run, The Food Drive and the Auction all benefit this local organization. We are continuing the Food Drive through this week, so take some time to drop off some nonperishable foods for Paradise Lakes' annual Food Drive.

Blood Drive December 1 The Blood Mobile will be here Saturday, December 1 from 11:30 am to 3 pm. You can sign up in the lobby or just show up! For more information on Florida Blood Services check their web site at www.fbsblood.org .
