The newly re-organized Paradise Lions Club is rolling out its first monthly newsletter starting with this month’s March 3rd edition. Club directors elected President Lion Michael “Mikey” Bolton as the newsletter committee chair­man at the last board meeting. The monthly newsletter will feature items of interest and details of the clubs cur­rent events.

John Forier owner of Paradise Lakes Resort has renewed his commitment to continue supporting the Paradise Lions Club in its efforts to helping local communities in need. Once again we will be selling engraved bricks at the en­trance to the main lobby. Posters outlining the brick pro­gram have been displayed in the lobby and order forms are available at the front desk for donors to purchase bricks. The bricks can be paid for by cash, check and by credit card. Donors can visit the website listed on the or­der form to pay by credit card. A candy display will be placed on the front counter for guests to help themselves and make a small donation or donate the balance of their cash card to the Lions. Paradise Lakes Resort is also hosting our 4th Wednesday of the month meetings.

Paradise Lions has joined efforts with all of Pasco County’s nudist communities. Lake Como Resort will be hosting the clubs 2nd Wednesday of the month meetings and will par­ticipate in future fund raising events. Gulf Coast Resort has graciously opened its arms to the Lions and a joint Yard Sale and Free Hot Dog Roast will be held on Saturday March 8th. This event is open to all interested nudists. Lions Club members and willing participants will offer items for sale with proceeds going to charity. The Yard Sale will be from 8am-3pm. Please bring your own items to sell and a table. Free Hot Dogs and soft drinks will be served from 11am-3pm. Beer and Wine Coolers will be available for sale. Admission is free but you must first check-in at the office.
