Hello! What a fantastic weekend Paradise Lakes had! The FUN started Wednesday night with Swing dance lessons in L'Attitudes and the sensuous Valentine's Day Dinner on Thursday night, followed by a special night in L'Attitudes with DJ "Cupid" teaching couples the "Cupid Shuffle"(how much FUN was that!) and celebrating important milestones in their lives. The hotel lobby was packed Friday as members and guest checked in to spend a romantic weekend at America's Premier Clothing Optional Resort. Saturday morning, another picture perfect day, the Valentine's Day Water Volleyball scramble got under way(see more below) and poolside crowds relaxed and enjoyed the sun, music and games. Lakeside was the scene for the Wedding Vow Renewal ceremony, complete with cake and champagne. Saturday night, The Not So Newlywed Game was so much FUN, as couples tried to prove who knew their spouse the best. L'Attitudes was rocking all night long with the Sweetheart Dance as so many new members danced the night away. Sunday morning debuted the "Sunday Brunch" a huge success, with a wonderful selection of delicious foods from around the world. After brunch, poolside once again was the place to be with great music and temperatures in the mid 80's! That was our Valentine's Day Weekend...How was YOURS?
Water Volleyball Scramble:Saturday, 24 players enjoyed a fun filled “Couples Only” tournament at the Key West pool. Gary and Sheri took 1st place followed closely by Charlie and Kathy in second place. There was a tie for 3rd place with Kevin and Joyce and Ray and Alice going neck to neck. The prizes, awards and refreshments brought many smiles to our early bird players. Meanwhile 3 additional teams formed a competitive chip game at the large pool. The scheduled 1 pm games in both pools brought out more than 50 players for the area's most popular Water Volleyball game!
