Called the Picasso of Body Painting by Key West magazine, Pashur's amazing body paint art sets an upscale erotic mood. He specializes in premium body painting artworks. His body paint artwork comes alive on a canvas that is alive, hence the name of his website, www.CanvasAlive.com.

"The artist in me wanted to create unique works of art involving the beauty of the human form thus I chose body painting. My art lives and breathes, literally. How many artists can truly say that? When you see a work by a master painter, you look at it and move on to the next piece. With body painting, you can't take your eyes off of it. Pashur started body painting about one year after he graduated with his art degree from Memphis College of Art. Since then, Pashur has won numerous awards for his body painting art and appeared in dozens of magazines across the world.

Pashur has body painted models for Playboy at the Playboy Mansion, dancers for rapper Jay-Z's 40/40 club in New York City and Baywatch actress Traci Bingham. Pashur also toured as the body painter for Brooks and Dunn's Neon Circus from 2001-2003, which was voted best concert tour of 2001 and 2002. Recently he was a featured audio interview for America Unzipped by Brian Alexander on MSNBC.com. Some of Pashur's other past clients include Kahlua, Tezon Tequila, Beefeater Gin, Chic-Fil-A, Animal Planet, CMT and Van's Warped Tour.

Body Art Fest draws Media Attention

It started with the concept of a creative fun run (and walk), in the early evening, giving the runners a chance to prepare like never before. Cotton Tails, an affectionate term for nudist newbies whose buns have never been exposed to natural sunlight, are abundant on race day. Thus, being a springtime event near Easter, The appropriately named Cotton Tail Fun Run, was created and scheduled for April 21.

Springtime is colorful and this event has additional prize categories including: the best cotton tail, best body art, best catch phrase (write on your body), best bonnet, and most creative. Since body art is encouraged, the Body Art Festival was put on the calendar for April 20-22, 2007.

Now, a variety of artists will be at Paradise Lakes displaying, selling, conducting and teaching their art form. Be painted, paint someone, or simply be a spectator at this spectacular event. The Cotton Tail Run is now one of the highlights during this special weekend; you don't have to participate in the run to be painted, and you don't have to be painted to participate in the run! Another highlight is an amateur body painting contest Sunday, April 22.

Local media, a PBS news show that airs in the St. Louis region, and TLC's Miami Ink, the reality tattoo shop program based out of Miami South Beach, will be covering the event.
